We are camped out here at home today. The kids have fevers. Both of them. Their sick beds are made up on the couches in the living room. Kitchen chairs are pulled along side for sick-day necessities.
I tried caffeine-free peppermint tea that I bought during an after Christmas sale in January. (The date on it says July '10) One child reject it based on the smell. The oldest took a few small sips. I'm happy I had it on hand to offer them, even if it wasn't a big hit.
We have watched Toy Story this morning and Toy Story 2 is nearing the finale. 
These VHS tapes have already been worth $2 I paid for both of them at a yard sale a couple weeks ago. It can worth it to stay a behind the the latest technology.
